The Russian city of Vologda hosts the VOICES Festival. The festival is entirely dedicated to the young and emerging filmmakers of European cinema.
VOICES has become a unique meeting place for the youngest European filmmaking generation, gathering ten first or second films from all across Europe in its official competition section, and selecting a wide array of titles for the parallel sections (such as Europe Express, and the genre-film-dedicated Midnight Screening).
