The festival presents a showcase of the recent film production of the Mediterranean countries : Albania, Algeria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Cyprus, Croatia, Egypt, Spain, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Libya, Macedonia, Malta, Marocco, Montenegro, Palestine, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey.
It aims to help discovering the cinematography of these countries, promoting its distribution, and furthering the knowledge of the Mediterranean cultures.
Five sections are organised :
1. a section gathering films in competition ;
2. a panorama section ;
3. a documentary section;
4. a “Seen in Brussels” section;
5. a short films section
A selection committee will view all the films provided in VHS format. No recourse will be possible against its decisions. These cassettes will be kept by the Festival and will be used, if necessary, for the press or by professionals of the audio-visual one.
