Cinema d’iDea is the first Women's International Film Festival of Rome, it's completely dedicated to women directors and their point of view. First Edition was in June 2017 at Tiberina Island, in the heart of Rome, in the beautiful ancient area of Trastevere. Every year the Festival presents a variety of indipendent films directed by women coming from all over the world, with a special focus on Iranian filmmakers. The glances, the depths of their points of views and the stories, the different narrations give to the Festival a multiplicity of themes and visions that reflect the reality of our societies and what we are living, with the intention of building a network of contacts and empower all women, not just women filmmakers
