The Ecomuseo of the Soapstone and the Stonemasons, the Malesco municipality, the Val Grande National Park Institution and the Association "Cercando il Cinema" with the aegis of the Piedmont Region, the VCO Province organise the Malescorto, the International Shorts Festival.
The competition is open to the video-makers from the entire world. The jury will be composed of exponents of the local culture and professionals of the television.
First Prize:
Grand Prize Malescorto 2025 (€1000), awarded to the director of the best short film.
Special Prizes:
• “Associazione Musei dell’Ossola" Award 2025 (€200)
• “Parco Nazionale della Val Grande" Award 2025 (€300)
• Audience Award 2025
As part of the Malescorto Spin-Off (events parallel to the Festival), the following prizes will also be awarded:
• “MaleSchool" Award 2025 (€300), awarded to the school institute or the people responsible for the production of the best short film made by schools.
• "Malescorto Insubria" Award 2025 (€200), awarded to the director of the best short film shot in the territory of the Insubrica Region.
