The Galway Film Fleadh is a six day international film event held every July. We welcome a mad diversity of filmmaking from all around the world, all generations and cultural backgrounds. There are no red carpets at the Galway Film Fleadh, we bring luminaries of the craft and everyday cinephiles together within an intimate environment to celebrate our shared passion for film.
The goal of the Galway Film Fleadh is to be a platform for the boldest new films and to bring audiences and filmmakers from around the world together to share in the wonder of cinema. The Galway Film Fair, a marketplace and industry conference runs alongside the Galway Film Fleadh, together with the Junior Galway Film Fleadh, a film festival for young adults.
