Alberto Gemma lives in a small house and receives a modest pension with which he is forced to save a lot to survive. Unfortunately the man is robbed in the street by a shady thug in the area, Mattia Mariani. The pensioner however recognizes his attacker and reports him to the police. After serving a brief sentence, the criminal takes revenge and seriously wounds him inside the protagonist’s home.
