A teenage girl’s rebellion against the adult world becomes the lens for a quiet but urgent clash between two generations: one driven by control and disillusionment, the other by idealism and action. Inspired by the volunteer initiative Cacciatori di Briciole (“Crumb Hunters”). Bianca, a rebellious and idealistic young woman from Lugano, is sent to live with her uncle in Bolzano. Their uneasy coexistence gradually opens her to a world of community service and human connection, forcing both to confront their differences and rediscover the values they share through small acts of kindness. The people around her are an eclectic community of outsiders and volunteers whose unexpected stories and unconventional lives help her see reality from new perspectives. In this encounter between two generations and two opposing ways of understanding the world, Bianca transforms her personal frustration into a broader struggle for social justice, human rights, and environmental responsibility.
