Six lives intersect in the chaos of everyday life in Milan, each searching for their own “perfect noise,” a signal to follow rather than surrender to emotional numbness. Ralph and Viola struggle to balance family, financial compromises, and their son Mirko’s bullying at school. Andrea, a photographer who dreams of becoming a father, is married to Andreina, a nurse terrified of motherhood. Meanwhile Alba, a strong yet fragile woman, is trapped in a violent marriage with Umberto, an entertainer in pediatric wards.
Their paths cross through humiliations, small acts of kindness, and buried desires, until a chance encounter between Viola and Andrea sparks the possibility of a second chance, setting off a chain of events that unsettles all their lives. Because even in the most ordinary lives, it takes very little for masks to fall away or for people to find the courage to truly live.
