Antonio, severe and old-fashioned judge, refuses the hospitality of his thirty year old daughter, when the time comes for him to retire as his daughter lives with a pedophile who is her same age. So he ends up in the futuristic Avanad Institute, or old age retraining center, that puts him back on the market: This is how Antonio is adopted by the strange Linder couple, he is a designer and she is a journalist, both always traveling, to take care of their two terrible twins Daria and Dharma.
So, Antonio finds himself in a strange situation living with the new governess, Laura, an imaginative girl, always on the edge of the law, the classical petty thief with a golden heart. Thanks to this stormy friendship, Antonio begins to explore a totally new world, with non-European kids, unmarried families and enchanting women of the world, such as Jezabele, a forty year old former showgirl with whom he slowly falls in love.
