The lottery offices, strange and magic territories made of numbers, superstition, and propitiatory rites. Antonio works in a place like this, where he can change the destiny of people. He gave up his dreams in music and every morning he interprets the dreams of the numerous players in a popular neighborhood of Naples.
Then one night, while he's wandering around the dark narrow roads of the Spanish neighborhood, he saves a mysterious old man's life, who was about to be ran over by a van and to repay him for saving his life, he gives him five numbers to play written on a piece of paper.
Antonio plays these numbers for Nicola, his best friend who is also chronically unemployed. The lottery ticket wins billions, but brings a series of tragic comedies with it and intricate events tied to a racketeer who has fixation for the "Smorfia" (where each number represents an event).
