At the times of Grand Tour and Land of Dreams, on the northern border of the States of.the Church there's a post station where travellers can exchange their tired horses with fresh ones.
The post is located in an ancient village that surrounds a castle. Next to the station there's an Inn named "La Carbonara" whose owner is a beautiful woman, Carbonara, named.after the speciality of the house: Spaghetti Carbonara.
The control over the land is shared between police officers and bandits who, together, maintain safety and order. One day, four Carbonari opinionists arrive at the Inn. Among them there's one of Carbonara's ex-Iovers. The four intend to kldnap a cardinal who is due to pass by the station.
A friar arrives too and he turns out to be an ex-Carbonaro who has abandoned the cause of the secret legacy. But he’s also the Carbonara's ex-husband, who was supposed to be dead…
