Celeste is a musician who lives in an artists nursing home in the sunny and beautiful Sicilian countryside; she is ill, she has a cancer and chooses to break with the common thinking to be treated with natural food, medicinal herbs, books and cannabis. Amaranto, owner of the residence, is a young architect with a testy temper. He goes straight to the soul of things but, like many of us, has difficulties to read through his soul. All around them there are old artists who have found in that place a family and a reason to live, surrounded by the rural simplicity and Celeste’s love.
Due to mysterious and unpredictable events, their microcosm becomes a metaphor of the real world. A world where atrocious lies are truth, which call “drugs”only few substances condemned by the convenience of the history. The friendship between Amaranto and Celeste is a clash, but it implies also the hope of those who still believe in the future of life.
