The story of two brothers, Fabrizio and Guglielmo, and their busy lives. Their distractions prevent them from paying attention to their mother, ill for a long time, who repeatedly begs to be taken to the seaside one last time and to spend a holiday with the two of them and Pierfrancesco, their father. One day, after they have passed the buck to each other – once again – over their mother’s request, she unexpectedly dies. Fabrizio, drowned in guilt, nds himself alone with Gugliemo and makes a decision his brother cannot but share: to take their mother to the seaside, in Sicily, for the last time together. And so they do. The two leave for this crazy journey, with the co n tied to the luggage rack of the car...
