In the less than monumental parts of Rome, in the city of the ‘Quartieri’, the neighbourhoods, of narrow streets and benches shaded by the plane trees, there are footprints and signs of feminine presences which, though not very visible, are perfectly reflected in the personalities of some of the women who were born in these ‘Quartieri’, or went to live there out of choice, leaving an indelible mark behind them.
