Meditation in prison: the teaching of Dario Doshin Girolami. A zen buddhist priest narrates - through the accounts of some inmates of Rebibbia Prison - the benefits of meditation. The discipline helps the “guests” of the prison - some of them with long sentences - to face with greater confidence the constrictive condition, and guides them along a path of deeper inner wisdom. The accounts of the inmates on their past actions, on how they now deal with the daily difficulties, are paired with the interviews of the staff working in the prison, and of Dario’s collaborators that pursue the meditation path along with him.
