Iuvaras and Patenes' powerful families are ancient enemies. One night at a club, Luca Iuvara and Alessandro Patene quarrel about the honour to participate in a show hosted by beautiful showgirl Lenka. To decide upon who will be on the stage with her, the two run a dangerous motorbike race through the city. During the competition Alessandro dies tragically. Alessandro's father, Sante Patene, swears vengeance on Iuvaras: he imposes to the rival family to steal the precious King Manfredi's crown, the main attraction at the approaching museum exhibition. News spread that also The Cat, a renown and mysterious thief, is interested in stealing the crown. Intrigues and conspiracies arise in a game where all the means are allowed. Only true bastards can survive.
