Against the backdrop of a monumental but also domestiv Rome the seagulls, the nuns, the churches, the clouds, the trees are looked at from the same window for over the period of an entire year.
They are the protagonists in this film which has at its core the question:"When do we see?"
In the room voices appear and disapper: fragments of friendly conversation, children's voices, reading of poems, voices coming from the radio, from television, from films. Outside the window the world surprises the viewer with big and small events, modifying the scene. The film represents a visual, emotional and intellectual experience progressing towards a deeper, subjective acquisition of human awareness.
