We are in Lecce, a small town in Southern Italy, known for its architectural beauty and crowded local beaches which host tourist from all over the world. Far from the historical town center and from the tourist flooded streets, a small neighborhood made of small houses and minor local shops is changing quite rapidly. The neighborhood is situated between Porta Napoli and San Pio, almost a wave breaker between the historical and popular center and San Pio, which ultimately is being invaded by students and the elderly. Scenes from real life alternate, one after another, whilst letting us meet people who have been living the neighborhood for half a century and others who seem to be passing by or just passing time. The neighborhood which once was the suburb now becomes, with great velocity, the nightlife center.
