A documentary about Francesco Moser, Italy’s greatest cyclist and currently the third winningest cyclist of all time, with 273 professional wins, behind Eddy Merckx and Rik Van Looy. The film traces his life, his victories, and his return to his hometown of Palù, in Trentino, where, at the age of 68, he still rides his bicycle every day. Moser once held the hour record, with 51,151 kilometers traveled. At the age of 42, in an attempt to improve the record, he still posted the second-best time in the world. Aside from Moser himself, who narrates the story, the film showcases interviews with such greats as Giuseppe Saronni, his long-time rival, along with Merckx and Bernard Hinault.
