A man is walking alone in the last bits of darkness.
It’s Deputy Police officer Francesco Prencipe, going to see his best friend, Judge Giovanni Mastropaolo. They haven’t seen each other for over two years. A two hour ride only for a few words and nothing else. A question. An Answer. That same morning the judge is found dead: a bullet in his forehead. Francesco is the last one that saw him alive.
Only his fingerprints are traced in the house.
He only had time for the homicide.
The prosecutor, who knows him well, his past, women, bad habits and other weaknesses, arrests him.
His life flows in front of his eyes overlapping inconsistently in a desperate attempt to find the true killer, to the truth of an entire life.
