The popular Italian cuisine, which is loved and imitated around the world, is diying. But many are those who are trying to save it. This film is a collection of encounters between me and eight different individuals from every corner of Italy, men and women of all ages, who in their everyday work represent the synthesis of the infinite resistance and reluctance to the domination of the same gastronomical and cultural model that is being installed all over the world. Four generations meet face to face in order to verify whether Italian cuisine is still a living heritage, if the passage of information between generations still exists, if Italian cuisine as well as its legacy will be saved or will disappear.
