The documentary relates the story of Gregoria, the only teenager living in
Casetta, a remote village (hamlet) of just 10 inhabitants on the Tuscan-
Emilian Apennines.
This is her last year living there. In September 2017 she has to move to the
valley to go to High School and that day will also mark the end of the film.
The story starts a year earlier, on the first day of school and relates a year
spent with her.
In this remote Apennine village, the changing seasons and nature rituals: the
harvesting of chestnuts, wild boar hunting, the winter snow, accompany
Gregoria’s daily life and that of her parents and other villagers.
