“Youth that saves”. This is the meaning of “Jugend Rettet”, NGO established in 2016 in Berlin by a group of young people with one purpose: to go in open waters, sailing the Iuventa ship, to save who is running away from Africa to Europe. Their dream is not so easy to fulfill: despite the nobility of their project, the juvenile utopia has to confront the hard reality, full of politics that are not able to help the Mediterranean. Michele Cinque’s points the finger to the media’s disinterest and to European institutions and their plan about humanitarian emergencies. Iuventa shows a hard route, made of fights for the defense of the human rights, of which is impossible to remain indifferent.
