“Némos going by sea” is a “ethno-mythologicalsurreal” film in which fiction and reality merge to seek, in the ability of today’s Sardinians to dream and invent stories, the traces and values stratified in millennia of material and immaterial culture of the Mediterranean. An ongoing plot, organized around Homer’s Odyssey used as a canvas. A group of Sardinian shepherds and rural people, artisans, fishermen and sailors will interpret the Odyssey following the method of guided improvisation, to build together a bittersweet, epic, modern and universal tale.
