“I had a dream” explores six crucial years in the life of two very committed women who decide to take action, in spite of the raising hate against politicians. In years when politics seems to be the problem and not a solution, what will it be of our democracies? Plato would say that Democracy is destined to fail because it would is victim of selfish and irrational human aims. People would care only about their own interests and not about the common thing, delivering their Country into the hands of the "most selfish one", a dictator. Manuela, Deputy of the Parliament, and Daniela, City Assessor to Walfare, try to reduce the gap between electors and politics but their fight is very solitary and overwhelming. In such a landscape, their friendship refreshes their political passion and commitment and pushes them to keep going besides the consequences of taking action.
