festivals & awards:
A young man, the typical village’s geek, lives a difficult daily situation; he has lost his mother who conceived him in adulthood; he never knew his father who, irresponsibly, abandoned his mother, not taking responsibility. The protagonist lives his existence in the restricted reality of a small town in South Italy, where people mock and almost avoids contact with a man lost in his solitude. Every day he goes to the cemetery, tormented by his own awareness and by the memory of his mother's stories: two inner voices, sometimes antagonistic, sometimes consoling, to trace an intimate picture of the protagonist, lost in distant reminiscences or in delusional dreams, almost to the limit of madness.
