Saturday night in Santo Spirito, a suburb of Bari: after helping him train for a Thai boxing match, Vanni would like to have his usual beer with his brother, but Cosimo leaves him alone to meet a girl. Bickering in dialect and silences from the changing room, a story of personal resistance and brotherly love comes through in a context in which, if you are different from the others, you cannot afford to “hit like women”. Filmed under the supervision of Leonardo di Costanzo, winner of the David di Donatello, the first fiction short film by the documentary filmmaker and actor Saverio Cappiello reveals an eye able to support its own characters to tell what is untold in their lives.
