The 90s, the little Rosary lives in Sicily together with his father Giordano, an architect who works on the project of the bridge over the Strait of Messina and his mother Maria. The life of the young protagonist is intertwined with the events of small and large abuses, ranging from bullying to mafia extortion, from threats to violence, all difficult realities with which Rosario confronts and measures herself guided by the common thread of the whole story that it is the Justice evoked by Giordano on the stele of Judge Rosario Livatino, "martyr of justice", and which will resonate in the life choices of the protagonist as an adult.
