6 p.m. – In a restaurant laying claim to “excellent cuisine”, Scirò the chef is working away and the dining area staff are preparing the tables. They all have dreams and “whims”, including Scirò and his girlfriend/business partner. Then “out of opening hours” 5 women who are all strangers to each other, burst in and will cause situations worthy of an SOS call! As in all comedies, a happy ending is in store... but not for all!

DIRECTOR'S NOTES:
As a young girl I was very struck by Pietro Germi’s words “...To denounce the hidden “afflictions” of society one must make use of bitter/sweet irony and grotesque/surreal situations.” As regards the accusations of corruption and social condemnation, I have always kept the above quoted phrase in mind. I have not linked the stories to a dated event: they can recall past events, current situations or forecast (alas) future ones.
