“AltaVoce” is an episodic movie that follows four different stories. Every episode deals with different kinds of psychological violence and addiction: affective violence, violence in the workplace, gender violence and racial violence. All the stories, apparently dissimilar to each other, are linked in psychological thriller plot, that shows how they are united by the same existential matrix.
The movie, whit his meta-cinematographic flavor, deals with the problem of the relationship between reality and fiction.
It has an articulated and complex narrative structure, full of emblematic and significant turning points, which help the viewer to ask himself questions on the crucial theme of the film: what is real, wat is not?
