For 15 years the "Roma camp" in Lungo Stura Lazio - the “Platz” for its inhabitants - existed in the northern outskirts of Turin. It was one of the largest slums in Western Europe. La versione di Jean is the story of a man who uses his mobile phone to film and record different aspects of everyday life in that camp, until its destruction. In the vast empty space after the forced eviction of his family and hundreds of other people, his memories reappear.
