Adam, Helena and their son Finn spend their traditional summer holiday with friends at the seaside in southern Italy. When Finn collapses unconscious on his way home from the beach, it is a shock for everyone. Although the boy is well again the next day, the incident continues to have an effect on all of them, plunging Helena and Adam completely unprepared into a relationship crisis
