Rome, present day. Greta, a 9-year-old girl, frees a polar bear cub that belongs to the Staroccias, a family of criminals. Together with her friends Sauro, Nicola, and Katie, and inspired by Greta Thunberg, she sets out to make her "true fairy tale" come true: to bring the cub back to the North Pole, right where a major demonstration is planned to raise awareness about the climate crisis.
