The film is about profound contradictions, about the attraction for what is dark. The man who embodies all of this is a giant, hishead always bent a little to one side, his eyes turning towards the high to chase the images it narrates, which are mixed with noises and smells like the stables he frequents. He is a zoonome, a technician who follows intensive farms, to make them produce the maximum. Heifers, horses, large-scale distribution are his whole life, they are a part of his identity, there is nothing else. We enter his mind as in a dream: determine the body of the animal, enlarge it in the right places, increase muscle mass. The flesh of animals can hardly be distinguished from his own. He wraps them, he touches them, he evaluates them. The body of the heifer tells the story of his life. This man makes us enter a world that reveals his and our contradictions, the rawness of breeding, the deep relationship between him and the beasts.
