Paolo lives in a historic district of Turin where everyone calls him Paolino, little Paul, not only because of his minute appearance but also because of his personality, which looks more like a boy than like a fifty-year-old man. When he was only a child, his parents expected him to be older already. Now he lives alone and he is about to loose his home. He overdrinks and it seems he doesn't give a damn about his life. Everything changes when he ends up in the hospital. Here he has to face himself and mostly his daughter, whom he hasn't seen for a long time.
