A 4000-km gas pipeline has been funded by the European Union to transport gas from Azerbaijan to Italy. At its landing place on the Puglia coast, the local community is opposed to this further large-scale fossil-fuel plant, while the multinational company has attempted to persuade local people of the benefits of the work. The story is told from two conflicting viewpoints, recording three women: two members of the social activist movement and the multinational's media manager. However, it is the vision of two of the activists’ children which provides a different point of view. As the great work moves forward on the sea and in the country the courtrooms obstruct the protest. What are you willing to give up for your principles? And how do future generations look at us adults and the world we are leaving them?
