Christian has lost his pregnant girlfriend, Marta, and decides to start a long journey by foot to raise money for the scientific research against the most widespread rare genetic disease in Italy: Cystic Fibrosis. The director, Davide Del Mare, affected by the same disease, tells the story in first person walking side by side Christian for 4000km. An "on the road" film, even if only by foot, which investigates in the human souls of both Christian and Davide: the first, is trying to overcome his anxiety due to the loss of his loved ones, the latter explains his disease through the words of other patients met during the trip. The great media resonance, the adventures by foot and the friendship between the two, brings the audience in a journey, not only through the wonderful Italian territory, but also through an internal journey which will take the two protagonists to face their fears for a larger purpose.
