In Sarajevo the director Šemsudin Gegić is being diagnosed a terrible lung cancer and he only has few months lef to live. His daughter Emma, a passionate playwright, moved to Milan two years before. She sugests him to ask for a further medical consult at the l’IRCCS Ospedale San Rafaele in Milan. Šemsudin Gegić takes the deal. In Milan doctors put his case under scrutiny and reach a diferent solution. Šemsudin begins a new existence. In Italy he is not alone, he is surrounded by many friends supporting him and the medical staf who took his case in charge. Will Šemsudin manage to move to Milan, far from his birthplace?
