The story of the film tells of a young family: Teresa, a young woman who lives with Pietro in a suburb and their two-year-old son, Antonio. Like many young people, they have to deal with lack of work and financial difficulties. Pietro is not reliable and Teresa has to do everything by herself and divide herself between work, home and child. Pietro's behaviors put her and Antonio at risk, and Teresa, in order to defend her son, goes to perform an extreme act, which costs her prison. When she comes back, she finds Pietro and Antonio again, and the life she left ten years ago ...
