Marco goes to an optical shop to buy sunglasses, and meets Ambra, the shop assistant, who just came to Rome from her small town Roccasecca. They start talking amiably, getting both a pleasant reciprocal feeling, and thus spend the whole afternoon together, ending up to the B&B where Ambra lives, and here love at first sight breaks out. In spite Ambra and Marco are rational and thoughtful people, they both feel a strong reciprocal attraction, and after an afternoon only spent together they feel as if they knew each other already for a while, and therefore decide to meet again in the optical shop on the day after, being both willing to see each other again soon. Therefore, as agreed, Marco goes to the optical shop on the day after, but Ambra is not there. Moreover, the shop owner tells him no girl called Ambra has ever worked in her shop. Marco then tries to reach Ambra via mobile phone, but looks like her phone is switched off. He then goes to the B&B where he left her the evening before, but its owner says there’s no girl with that name living there. So Ambra mysteriously vanished without a trace as no one seems to have met her before. Several months later, when Marco has already given up to find her, but still recalling the magic moments spent together, he accidentally meets her again and finally finds out reason why the girl disappeared, thus understanding both shop and B&B owners’ answers to his questions.
