During a job interview, women can face prejudice, intrusion of their private sphere, insensibility, ignorance of law and related protections. Through dense dialogues and the pressing thoughts and anxieties of one of the two protagonists, Fertility Day depicts three scenarios of a job interview for a young woman looking for her first job or a new job after a maternity leave. The short movie ends on a surprising note.

DIRECTOR'S NOTES:
Fertility Day is a short movie that exposes a socially relevant condition with bitter irony. During a job interview, women can face prejudice, intrusion of their private sphere, insensibility, ignorance of law and related protections. How to break this deadlock? Building on real life experience and focused interviews, the two authoresses have first observed the issue and then translated their observations into a short movie aimed at raising awareness.
