The idea of the existence of a god always grows stronger in those moments when human beings feel they have less control over reality. Chiara works as a lighting technician on a theatrical dance show dedicated to Dionysus, who punished humanity for not having believed in his divine nature. When her father Vittorio comes back into her life with an illness that seems like some form of divine punishment, Chiara has to come to terms with the most universal and ancestral reality that human beings have had to face since the beginning of time.
