Structured as a visual story that takes place across 24 hours, Good Morning Tel Aviv takes its start from the Tel Aviv nights and develops into the story of a “typical” day through its neighbourhoods, its characters, its contradictions and its prowess. A sort of endless sequence shot that – from one night to the next – attempts to draw us into the “magnificent chaos” of the city.

Director's statement

I learned so much during my time in Tel Aviv and I understood that everything we think we know is almost always hasty and summary. I experienced that listening is the best way to get in touch with the city.
I hope I was able to add some questions to the Israeli questionnaire and to convey the beauty, the optimism and the courage of a place that is like no other in the world.
