The film follows Niccolò, a successful forty-year-old who decides to give back by becoming the foster father of Federico, an eighteen-year-old with a troubled past spent in communal care. As they live together, a deep and complex relationship develops, characterized by emotional ups and downs. Despite facing personal challenges and limitations, both Niccolò and Federico provide each other with the tools to confront their own issues and grow.
