At a remote location in the mountains of Mexico lives Artemio, a farmer who is watching the desolate plot of land on which he works and his life itself slip from his fingers. When he receives shocking news, he decides to set off for the city in search of deliverance, but finds himself having to deal with a brutal world that is completely unknown to him.
DIRECTOR'S NOTES:
The story begins with the death of a woman in mysterious circumstances, and although there is a clear intention to address the issue of feminicide, we wanted to do it in an implicit and circumstantial way. What I mean is that we did not aim to say things openly because the main intention was always to make a subtle drama and an affirmative film, where the point of view is not the victim’s but the father’s, who suffers his daughter’s absence and his very own guilt, his own regrets.
