Giulia is a carefree little girl who often goes to a pristine beach in Sardinia, where she happens to come across wild boars, deer and the Sardinian donkey. Her light-heartedness is protected by her mother who always accompanies her with dedication. One morning the mother witnesses a quarrel between Giulia and some arrogant children who exclude her from a game. Giulia does not know how to rebel and she also gets angry with her mother who instead scolds the arrogant child and her mother. She will be thanks to that educational gesture and that firm invitation- "think about it!" -that thirty years later we find Giulia mature and aware while her partner lovingly takes care of her elderly and sick mother-in-law. All three, free from gender stereotypes.
