In her waiting spot, lost in a corner where loneliness joins a sea of dreams, Samira sells her body to the customers of her street. Despite the struggles of this job, the projection on a body lets her imagine being deeply loved. Samira travels through th unconscious revealing a glimpse of her tenderness.
DIRECTOR’S NOTES:
Samira is the tale of a girl who is forced to sell her body. However, the loneliness in her eyes does not disrupt her dream of redemption. We are right there , at her side, to observe a psychological exploration which shows misery through Samira’s eyes. The internal point of view makes us feel, breathe, live emotions “from the inside”. In Samira’s dream, reality is unadorned and her vision brings us to an abstract picture. That’s the romantic projection of a girl who is desperately searching for a connection with people, with gentless, with the truth of a lover who unfortunately is just a client.
