Elio, son of fisherman, dreams of living lightly, carefree.
But his father would like to see him become a man who takes over the fisherman's trade. So, considering it incapable of doing anything else, he takes Elio with him on cold trawling nights. When the circus arrives in town, Elio discovers a secret world, where it is possible to stay light forever, away from adult life.
Does happiness really exist in a world other than the one Elio knows?

DIRECTOR'S NOTES:
What has always guided me in writing is giving space to situations that can make us more aware of our future.
This film tells the story of the moment in which you find yourself confronting the real world, and growing up.
Hitchcock said "what for you is only a film for me is my own life".
In this little film I wanted to tell my awareness as an author, the ability to want to make a choice that drastically changes a life.
For me, the circus represents the world of entertainment in its most primordial sense, a secret place in which to store one's imagination and make it blossom.
Contrasted with the world of fishermen that has always fascinated me. Rough and practical is the perfect theater for the story of a concrete reality where one is forced to grow in order to live.
Gagio is dedicated to those who are or feel they are still in training, who have not yet chosen and are not clear what to do with their existence. Gagio wants to be an invitation to the courage to become aware of one's actions, of who one really is and of one's future.
