Roberto is a young man with a dream in his drawer: to emulate the feats of his idol Alessio Sartori, a rowing champion.
Roberto's desire is supported by an iron will that leads him to train hard despite difficulties related to his autism problem. A few moments before a race, looking at old photographs, he recalls in his mind old rumors of criticism, teasing, and harassment he suffered as a child, to which, however, are mingled the shouts of jubilation from a special telecast, that of the competition that saw Sartori and Battisti win the silver medal at the 2012 Olympics.
The protagonist enters the water with his team, in "four con" formation, and, driven by unhappy yet joyful memories, manages to crown his aspiration by crossing the finish line in first place.
But there is one person watching the scene from afar: it is Alessio Sartori himself who will hand over the prize to the jubilant winners.
The ability to dream proves that what you imagine can be realized, but life is stronger than dreams because, sometimes, it holds unexpected surprises.
