Twenty years after his tragic death, the documentary retraces the life of the doctor Carlo Urbani, who first identified SARS during the epidemic that broke out in Vietnam in 2003, stopping its spread. The narration is entrusted to the testimonies of relatives, friends, and the numerous images and archival footage that portray the most significant moments in Carlo Urbani's human and professional journey: from the trip to Cambodia, to the transfer to Vietnam, from the Nobel Prize awarded to Doctors Without Borders of which he was President, up to the commitment paid with his own life to avoid the spread on a global scale of the terrible SARS virus.
